The difference between facebook and twitter

Both these social networking sites are more popular in all corners of the earth. In America, in Europe, in Arabic, in Indonesia, and everywhere. If seen, both these sites have some similarities. First, of course both are equally social networking site. Second, both Facebook and Twitter are both relying on the status update feature. The difference, up to ask 'What's on your mind? (What are you thinking?) ', While Twitter asks' What are you doing? (What are you doing?) '. Which question do you think is better?

Now, let's see further differences between these two sites. The main difference is complexity versus simplicity. Up comes in a variety of features which is practically complete. All is on up: from simply update the status to share links, share images, video sharing, messaging, blogging (note), even had fun chatting. Not only that, Facebook also provides a feature invitations (invitation), cause, quizzes, groups, and so forth. Up seems to offer the concept of 'one-stop-visit' similar to 'one-stop-shopping' if we again shopping. Instead, it offers the simplicity of Twitter. In a way, Twitter is not much more than just a status update (although now starting to add some supporting features). In fact, we write status was restricted to 140 characters (and for that Twitter is categorized in microblogging). But it is said, loading status on Twitter more lightning aka faster and guaranteed start running than up. And in fact, precisely because of this simplicity, Twitter is often more popular than Facebook.

Another difference, Twitter distinguish friends become 'Following' and followers'. Following means that our friends to follow, while the follower means to the friends who followed us. While on Facebook, all of our friends have the same title: 'friend'.

In terms of how both can be accessed, the interesting part of Twitter is that users can update the status of all types of phones (the old school though) via short message service, aka text. The mechanism, sms sent to Twitter, and Twitter will instantly display the new status to the user's Twitter account pages. Very easy is not it?

But now, Twitter and Facebook may not have opposed each other, although both are still competing with each other. You can have accounts at two sites at once, but enough to write you a status update on Twitter just once, and instantly the same status will appear on your Facebook page.
